WHAT IS PILATES?
Pilates is an exercise system that focuses on stretching and strengthening the whole body to improve balance, muscle-strength, flexibility and posture. It was created by German-born Joseph Pilates in the early 1900s and incorporates elements of yoga, martial arts and Western forms of exercise.
Initially adopted by professional dancers in the US as an effective form of recovery after injury, pilates has steadily grown in popularity around the world, and includes celebrity fans such as Madonna and Jennifer Aniston.
WHAT WE OFFER?
We run a variety of classes for all ages and abilities and our expert Pilates Instructors are all Chartered Physiotherapists so you can be assured of an enhanced level of knowledge and experience.
Our classes can target both fitness and rehabilitation goals. We run both mat based classes as well as a circuit equipment class incorporating the reformer, split pedal chair, arc barrel and various pieces of small equipment.
We would assess you individually to plan which classes you would be suitable for or to tailor an individual 1 to 1 session.
DAYS, TIMES & FEES
The fees for the 3 different offerings as follows:
• MEL BRYANT – Mat Classes – 60 mins Block of 10 Classes for £185 – Tuesdays and Thursdays at 11am
• NINA ROBINSON – Mat Classes – 60 mins Block of 10 Classes for £185 – Wednesdays at 1pm
• MEL BRYANT Equipment Classes – 55 mins Block of 5 Classes for £125 – Thursdays at 10am
• MEL BRYANT OR NINA ROBINSON Private 1 to 1 – 60 mins – £104 Monday / Tuesday / Wednesday and Thursday
