Imaging is not new to South Wales and neither is this unit. We are preparing to take on the facility and will be working together from 1 November 2026, so clinicians who already refer here do not need to do anything differently. The centre is registered with Healthcare Inspectorate Wales. Swansea is a Welsh language service as much as an English one: contact us in Welsh and we will reply in Welsh, and choosing Welsh will not slow your appointment down. Clinical Imaging Facility, ILS 2, Ground Floor, Swansea University, Singleton Park, Swansea SA2 8PP. Use the Singleton Hospital car park. Open Monday and Wednesday to Friday, 8.30am to 4pm, and closed Tuesdays for teaching.
MRI accepts self-referral. CT and cardiac CT need a referral from a GP or consultant. Ultrasound, X-ray and guided injections are not on site here. Call the unit on 01792 606420 and we will help.
