Mr Alan O’Keeffe

Alan O’Keeffe has spent many years working in the private physiotherapy sector ranging from orthopaedic hospitals to sports specific physiotherapy practices. In addition to his private practice career, Alan has worked in a number of elite sporting environments over the years, treating a wide range of professional athletes from Rugby, Tennis, Golf, GAA and Team GB to name a few.

The knowledge and experience gained from working with several professional athletes has increased his desire and passion to improve the private practice journey for his patients. Alan aims to create a seamless treatment pathway for returning his patients to their sporting activities or normal daily lives following an injury or post-surgery recovery.

Alan specialises in a wide range of treatments for both upper and lower limb injuries. In recent times, he has become specifically interested in the combination of shockwave therapy and the most modern rehabilitation techniques to enhance successful patient outcomes.

Alan qualified initially with a BSc (Hons) in Sports Rehabilitation and is a HCPC registered chartered physiotherapist qualifying with an MSc.
