The centre
The Brighton Diagnostic Treatment Centre is the easiest of our centres to actually get to when you need it. Seven days a week, including full appointments on a Sunday. If you work, or you look after someone who does, that matters more than almost anything else about a scan.
On field strength
Our other centres run 3T scanners. A 1.5T scanner is a different tool rather than a lesser one, and for some patients it is the better one. More implants and surgical metalwork are safe at 1.5T, and it produces less distortion around metal. If you have a joint replacement, plates, screws or an implanted device, Brighton is frequently where you should be scanned.

Every scan is reported by a consultant radiologist. A body part is one area, such as a knee or the lower back; scanning more than one area in the same visit is priced per tier below. Contrast, where clinically needed, may be charged separately, we tell you before you book. Self-pay or insured. Call us on 0330 025 2100 if you cannot see what you need.
