Dr William Wynter Bee

About

Dr William Wynter Bee is a Consultant in Musculoskeletal, Sport and Exercise Medicine (SEM), with extensive experience in managing acute and chronic musculoskeletal and sports injuries. He has worked across elite sport but has a special interest in golf, working as Chief Medical Officer for Legends Tour and for both the European Tour Performance Institutes (ETPI) and Ladies European Tour Performance Institutes (LETPI). He is currently completing a PhD looking at the common injury patterns and illness seen in elite professional golfers through the University of Edinburgh. He works in the Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre at Oxford University Hospital NHS Trust and has vast experience in the use of musculoskeletal ultrasound, both to assist diagnosis and to guide interventions. His areas of expertise include golf injuries, sports injuries, tendinopathy, bone health, bone stress injuries and osteoporosis, musculoskeletal ultrasound, and ultrasound-guided injections. Current and recent appointments include Chief Medical Officer for Legends Tour, Chief Medical and Scientific Advisor to EDGA, work with the European Tour Performance Institute (ETPI) and Ladies European Tour Performance Institute (LETPI), and the Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre at Oxford University Hospital NHS Trust.
