What an X-ray is good for

X-ray is fast and excellent for bones and the chest: fractures, joint changes, and a first look at the lungs. Where soft tissue is the question, an ultrasound or MRI is usually the better test, and we will tell you which.

What happens on the day

The image takes seconds and the appointment about ten minutes. A consultant radiologist reports it and we return the report within a short turnaround.
