The Forbury Clinic

Urology for men, women and children. We do the imaging; The Forbury Clinic's urologists do the opinion and the treatment, at Weybridge, Harley Street, Stockport, Brighton and Swansea.

Why it matters for a prostate scan. A prostate MRI is not an answer on its own. Someone has to read it in the context of your PSA, your symptoms and your history, and say what happens next. Having urology in the same building is what turns a scan into a plan.

What they cover

Prostate health

Benign prostate enlargement, urinary symptoms and raised PSA results, including what a prostate MRI does and does not tell you.

Urinary symptoms

Changes in frequency, flow or urgency, and urinary tract problems that have not settled.

Continence

Urinary incontinence in women and men, assessed and treated by a specialist rather than managed indefinitely.

Kidney stones

Assessment and treatment, with CT on site at the centres that have it.

Men's and women's urology

A full urology service for adults, with children seen by their paediatric specialists.

How it fits with our prostate pathway

Our prostate pathway takes a PSA result and arranges the right scan: biparametric where PSA is below the raised threshold for your age, multiparametric where it is raised. Biparametric prostate MRI is available at Weybridge, Harley Street, Stockport and Brighton, and multiparametric at Weybridge, Harley Street and Stockport.

Where the finding needs a specialist, or where a PSA is high enough that a scan is not the right first step, a urology opinion is the next move rather than another test. That is the part The Forbury Clinic covers.

Booking

Scans are booked with us. Urology consultations are arranged with The Forbury Clinic, and their fees are theirs rather than on our price list. If you are not sure which you need, call us on 0330 025 2100 and we will point you to the right one.

More about their service is on their own website.

Referrers. If you are sending us a patient with a raised PSA or urinary symptoms, call 0330 025 2100 and we will arrange the scan and the urology opinion together rather than one after the other.
