Working with partners

Prime Health Stockport is a working diagnostic centre, the imaging, physiotherapy and injection service the local clinical network sends work to. Below is how we work with the different kinds of partner in the region.

GP practices

We accept referrals from private and NHS GPs across Greater Manchester and Cheshire. Reports are returned to the referring practice, and, with the patient's consent, to their own GP so care continues joined up. Direct-to-clinician reporting is our default.

Sports clubs and academies

Dedicated club service, see our sports clubs page for detail. One point of contact, agreed rate card, block or on-demand booking.

Corporate wellbeing teams

MSK screening, female health checks and executive health checks, see our corporate health page. Rate card agreed up front; reports go to the employee, not the employer.

NHS colleagues

Where a Prime Health scan finds something that needs onward NHS care, we transfer images and reports securely and free of charge, so nothing has to be repeated and no time is lost. Our reporting is held to the same standard whether the patient is NHS or private, this is our clinical heritage as the private arm of Medical Imaging Partnership.

Private consultants

Consultant clinics run at Prime Health Stockport across orthopaedics, sport and exercise medicine, urology and more. If you are a consultant considering running clinics here, we would be glad to talk.
