Mr Thomas Kersey

Mr Kersey is a Consultant Ophthalmologist practising in Surrey, Berkshire and Hampshire. He is an advanced cataract surgeon and one of the few surgeons in the UK who is dual fellowship trained in both Glaucoma and Oculoplastic Surgery. He takes pride in providing excellent medical and surgical care across all aspects of Ophthalmology.

After graduating from St Bartholomews and the Royal London School of Medicine, Mr Kersey taught Anatomy at Imperial College, London. His specialist ophthalmology training took place across Oxford and the Westcountry.

He is the lead Glaucoma Consultant at Frimley Park Hospital, Surrey.

He helped establish Cataract Simulation Training (CST) across the Kent, Surrey, Sussex Deanery, trained junior eye surgeons (many of whom are now consultants across the UK), adn has run national and international surgical workshops. With over 25 published scientific articles, attending and presenting at national and international meetings, Mr Kersey has maintained a strong and active interest in scientific research and technology.
