Andrew has worked within healthcare for the past 20 years and his early career was spent with healthcare companies Smith & Nephew, GlaxoSmithkline, and Stryker Corp going on to spend four years running an acute private hospital. Prior to his appointment to this role in 2019, he held the position as CEO of care provider supporting people with learning disabilities and Mental Health conditions. Andrew is also a trustee of the Midland Air Ambulance Charity
Oliver has over 17 years in the private healthcare sector. 13 years in BMI Healthcare in a variety of senior positions including 4 years hospital based. Additionally Oliver has 4 years service at HCA Healthcare as the CFO for the “Joint Venture Division” partnering with Groups of consultants and the NHS to deliver high complex cancer pathways and diagnostics as stand alone hospitals and within the NHS facilities.
Paul initially trained as a GP working in Essex before becoming interested in management. In 2002 he set up the Braintree Care Trust for adult social care and was also CEO for neighbouring Chelmsford PCT. Over the following 8 years he held a number of NHS CEO posts across East Anglian before being appointed the East of England Strategic Health Authority Director and was involved in the implementation of GP Commissioning. In 2012 Paul joined BUPA as their Chief Medical Officer advising on healthcare developments around the world. Paul was appointed as our CMO in January 2020, and led the clinical teams response to the pandemic.
