About
Dr Thompson has been a Consultant Radiologist at University Hospitals Sussex since 2004. He has subspecialty expertise in gastrointestinal and urological imaging and has a particular interest in prostate MRI. He is one of the radiological chairs for the Sussex Urology MDT.
Dr Thompson also has a major role in education and training, having been Head of the Kent, Surrey and Sussex School of Radiology since 2013 and establishing a radiology MSc at the University of Sussex.
He is married with two daughters and enjoys travel, skiing and cross-country running.
