Using CT for asymptomatic patient care

We invite you to join us on 25 September for a CPD-accredited event exploring the application of CT scanning in asymptomatic patient care, with a focus on cardiology, non-specific symptoms, and care pathways that enhance patient outcomes.

The CPD event will be given by Dr Jonathan Rodrigues and Dr Saoirse Dolly.

Following the presentations, you will have the opportunity to tour our state-of-the-art facility and engage with our team to learn more about our innovative services, cutting-edge technology, and the potential benefits for your patients.

About our speakers

Dr Jonathan Rodrigues

Dr Jonathan Rodrigues is a Consultant Cardiothoracic Radiologist, Honorary Senior Lecturer and Honorary Secretary at the British Society of Thoracic Imaging. He completed a PhD in cardiac MRI at The University of Bristol and Bristol Heart Institute and a Fellowship in cardiothoracic Imaging at The University of Toronto and Toronto General Hospital. His specialist areas of expertise include cardiac CT, cardiac MR and all facets of thoracic imaging including interstitial lung disease, pulmonary hypertension, lung cancer screening and COVID-19. He is involved in several multi-centre cardiac CT studies and is the Chief Investigator for several National Institute for Health Research grants which use cardiothoracic imaging biomarkers to hopefully improve patient outcomes.

Dr Rodrigues is Chief Medical Officer and Co-founder of Heart & Lung Imaging LTD, known as Heart Lung Health (HLH), which provides access to award-winning Cardiothoracic Radiologists with targeted expertise in the diagnosis of lung and cardiac conditions. The team at HLH offer subspecialty chest and cardiac expertise that is tailored to individual lung and cardiac conditions, thereby offering a bespoke, individualised diagnostic report for all cardiothoracic imaging.

Dr Saoirse Dolly

Saoirse Dolly is a Consultant Medical Oncologist working at Guy’s and St Thomas’ and King’s College NHS Trusts. She specialises in Rapid Diagnostics, Neuroendocrine, Pancreatic, biliary tract and small bowel cancers. She is also an Honorary Senior Lecturer at King’s College London. Oncology specialist training was completed at the Royal Marsden Hospital in 2018 and she undertook a CRUK PhD fellowship at the Institute of Cancer Research in 2013.

She is the Clinical Lead for the Guy’s Rapid Diagnostic Clinic which was awarded the HSJ integrated care partnership in 2021. Her main interest is early cancer detection and is a clinical adviser to the NHS Galleri trial. She is involved in the Guy’s Real-World Evidence Programme and has established read world databases in neuroendocrine, pancreatic, biliary and small bowel cancers.
