Dr Nicky Bull
About
Nicky joined the Prime Health GP group in July 2024, having been an NHS GP prior to that for 23 years. She qualified from the University of Cape Town, South Africa, in 1996. She spent a further year working at Groote Schuur Hospital in Cape Town before getting married and moving the UK in February 1998.
In the UK she worked in A+E in Kent for a year and then did her GP training at University College Hospital in London. During this period she worked at UCLH, Middlesex Hospital and St Mary’s Hospital in Paddington, London.
Nicky’s clinical interests are broad and cover all aspects of general practice. She has always had a special interest in women’s health, family planning and sexual health. She worked in these departments at St Mary’s Hospital, St Peter’s Hospital, Woking Family Planning Centre as well as Buryfields in Guildford.
Apart from her passion for medicine, Nicky also is committed to helping those less fortunate than her. She and her mum started a children’s charity in South Africa 15 years ago. They feed and help educate up to 100 children daily in a township about 2 hours from Cape Town.
Nicky has 3 children, 2 dogs and 2 cats whom she adores! When not at work she loves spending time with them all and cooking for her friends and family.
