What it looks for
A CT coronary angiogram (CTCA) maps the arteries that feed the heart. Our analysis goes a step further: it uses AI to quantify inflammation in and around those arteries, the otherwise invisible process behind many heart attacks, including in people whose arteries are not yet narrowed. It is a way to understand risk earlier, when there is most that can be done about it.
A consultation where it is needed
Where the findings call for it, a consultation with a consultant cardiologist is included, so the results are explained and a plan agreed. Where the scan is reassuring, you are told so plainly and not sold an appointment you do not need.
