Sports and Exercise Medicine Consultant, Dr Tham Wedatilake, will host two educational talks at Prime Health over the next 2 months.

With only limited spaces available, we invite Allied Health Professionals from across Surrey to join us for these exclusive 1-hour talks at our state-of-the-art centre in Weybridge, Surrey.

About the Speaker:

Dr Tham Wedatilake MBBCh (Hons) MRCP FFSEM Dip.SEM(GB&I) completed his Sports and Exercise Medicine specialist training at the Oxford University Hospitals NHS Trust. He is a fellow of the Faculty of Sport and Exercise Medicine.

Tham has expertise in managing football-related injuries having worked as Club Doctor for Southampton Football Club. He works with the England Cricket Board for the England Lions and England Lionesses. He was the Team Doctor for England Lionesses during their famous 2017 Cricket World Cup victory.

 Tham has also worked at the English Institute of Sport and with Team GB teams such as swimming, modern pentathlon, athletics, rhythmic gymnastics, synchronised swimming and hockey. He was a team leader for medical provision at the London 2012 Olympic Games at the basketball venue.

His special interests include muscle injuries, tendinopathy, stress fractures and groin pain.
