Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) and nStride are injection treatments prepared from a sample of your own blood, then placed precisely into the joint or tissue that needs it. Because the injection is delivered under live ultrasound, a consultant radiologist can confirm exactly where the treatment goes.

PRP

Platelet-rich plasma is a concentrated preparation of platelets from your own blood. Platelets carry growth factors thought to support the body's own healing response. PRP is used for a range of joint, tendon and soft-tissue problems where a targeted regenerative approach may help.

nStride

nStride Autologous Protein Solution (APS) is a more concentrated preparation used specifically for symptoms of mild-to-moderate osteoarthritis of the knee. It is prepared from your own blood at the time of treatment and injected under ultrasound guidance.

Why image-guided

Regenerative injections only work if they reach the right place. Live ultrasound lets a consultant radiologist watch the needle the whole way in and confirm the treatment has landed where it should, much more accurate than a blind injection, and often more comfortable.

Is it right for me?

PRP and nStride are not the right answer for every joint problem. Where an MRI, a steroid injection or the joint, bone and muscle pathway would answer your question better, we will say so.
