Refer a patient

We accept referrals from GPs, consultants, physiotherapists and osteopaths. Send us the request and we will arrange the appointment at the centre most convenient for your patient, and return a consultant radiologist report within a short turnaround.

How to refer

• Call the team on 0330 025 2100 to discuss a patient or arrange a scan.
• Email the referral to enquiries@prime-health.co.uk.
• For image transfer, use 03300 250150.
• To see the imaging for a patient you have already referred, use the referrer portal.

Referring into the Prostate Healthcheck

Consultant referrals are accepted without a clinical indication section. For GP referrals, the service is available for patients presenting with any of the following:

• A raised PSA level
• A first degree relative with prostate cancer
• A malignant digital rectal examination
• Ethnicity risk: Black African, Caribbean or Black British
• Increased frequency, or a change of habit, in urination

The pathway covers men aged 40 to 79. It is self-pay and not available through private medical insurance. Send the referral letter with the patient, or ask them to upload it with their online referral. What your patient gets

A prompt appointment, a scan reported by a consultant radiologist, and a clear report back to you. Where a guided injection, physiotherapy or an onward referral is the right next step, we can arrange that too.
